Abstract

The conflict between the right to privacy and freedom of expression represents one of the most significant constitutional challenges in contemporary India. This article examines the scope and limitations of these rights under Articles 19 and 21 of the Constitution, with reference to landmark judicial decisions and emerging issues in the digital era. It argues that constitutional values require a balanced approach that protects both individual dignity and democratic freedom through principles of proportionality and public interest.
