Abstract

This case commentary analyses the landmark judgment of the Supreme Court of India in Justice K.S. Puttaswamy v. Union of India (2017). The article examines the facts, issues, reasoning, and significance of the decision through which the Court recognised privacy as a Fundamental Right under the Constitution. It further discusses the judgment's impact on constitutional law, data protection, individual liberty, and digital governance in contemporary India.
