Abstract

This article analyzes the constitutional architecture and development of Fundamental Rights in India with specific emphasis on the judicial interpretation of Fundamental Rights and the constitutional protection available to them. In this regard, this article has analyzed the development of Fundamental Rights based on cases like A.K. Gopalan, Maneka Gandhi, Kesavananda Bharati, and K.S. Puttaswamy. It also discusses the Doctrine of Basic Structure, remedies available under the Constitution and reasonable restrictions on Fundamental Rights.
