Media and its Impact on Genocide: Can Media Impact Genocide?

This paper investigates the complex link between media and genocide, examining its ability to influence propaganda, pique public attention, and contribute to conflicts that develop into genocide. The study's extensive research seeks to analyse how media impact may either worsen tensions or aid to peacebuilding efforts. It investigates the methods by which the media changes public perception and spreads propaganda, resulting in increased conflicts among various society groups. In addition, the study will look into measures for improving media practices in order to reduce tensions and avert mass clashes. By concentrating on the role of media in both perpetuating and avoiding genocide, this study hopes to contribute to a better understanding of the complexity of this connection.
