Abstract

Abstract Corruption in India has been a persistent threat to democratic governance, economic stability, and public trust. This article provides a comprehensive legal analysis of corruption in India, focusing on the legislative framework, especially the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, its amendments, enforcement challenges and judicial pronouncements. It also proposes reforms to strengthen India’s fight against Corruption.
