Abstract

AI, as we all know, is a technology that helps us in many ways. The phrase "artificial intelligence" is widely recognised nowadays in all fields, and when it comes to the subject of inquiry, we need to have rules in place that permit the application of AI in this field. If forensic and digital evidence are handled by humans, there is a chance that the data may be altered or that the person conducting the investigation may be dishonest. This might cause serious problems for the investigation and prevent a fair trial. AI is software, and as software cannot be damaged, it will only produce correct findings if it is used in the examination of digital and forensic data.Additionally, because AI works according to its intended tasks, it can promptly identify any manipulated or destroyed data. As a result, AI is crucial to any inquiry involving digital and forensic evidence, and it would be unfair if any data were lost or damaged. Therefore, in order to prevent injustice and ensure a fair trial, I want to convey in this paper that new rules pertaining to AI should be formed for the investigation of all digital and forensic data.
