Abstract

This blog talks all about constitution of India and its journey prior to and after independence. The longest written constitution in the history holds importance even after years of independence. Drafted in a period of 2 years 11 months and 18 days, it was adopted in 1949 and enforced in 1950. Comprising of a preamble, various articles, parts and schedules, it lays down the basic structure of rules which govern the country.
