Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the legal profession in India by improving legal research, document drafting, case management, and access to justice. This article examines the growing integration of AI in the Indian legal system and analyses its potential benefits and challenges, including concerns relating to privacy, ethics, employment, and judicial decision-making. It argues that AI should function as an assistive tool that enhances efficiency and legal services while preserving human judgment, professional ethics, and constitutional values.
