Abstract
The Indian Film Industry is one of the most exceptional motion cinema in the world. Indian cinema known for its peculiar style of storytelling ranging from stories that inspire people to imagine the unbelievable situations in their life to narrating biographies of the successful ones in life, from escaping realities to giving life lessons, from simply watching to focusing on each and every scene, sound, music and dialogue of the film, the industry has given a lot to its audiences. Unlike Hollywood Film Industry which is only focused on English films, Indian Film Industry encompasses movies of various languages and dialects consisting of languages like Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Odia and other regional languages. Each language has its own studio, complex and industry which ultimately fall under the umbrella group of Indian Film Industry or Indian Cinema with each one of them dealing with their own legal battles. This battle of legal challenges didn’t just start 2 or 3 years back but has been persistent over a period of time. The sources devoted to the original creations of directors, producers, lyricist, writers, music composers, singers are all protected under intellectual property rights.
