Abstract

The Goods and Services Tax or GST started on 1 July 2017. This was a change for Indias tax system. The GST got rid of different taxes and replaced them with one simple system that uses technology. The Goods and Services Tax has made companies be more open about what they do. This is because of the system that companies use to follow the rules. The Goods and Services Tax also made sure that all companies follow the steps. The Input Tax Credit mechanism helps to keep track of everything. The Goods and Services Tax has had an impact on how companies handle money and do their accounting. It has also changed how companies are run and how they make decisions. The Goods and Services Tax has helped to make the economy more formal and reduced tax evasion. However, companies have had some problems with the Goods and Services Tax. Overall, the Goods and Services Tax has made the tax system in India simpler. The Goods and Services Tax has also helped to create a culture were companies transparent and accountable. This will help companies to grow in the term. The Goods and Services Tax is good, for India because it helps to promote transparency and accountability.
