Abstract

The Supreme Court's ruling in Angadi Chandranna v. Shankar & Ors. affirms essential aspects about the change of coparcenary property due to partition in Hindu joint families, and the Court's ruling has provided more clarity. The research focuses on the reinstatement of property rights after partition, the principle of blending with the burden of proof, and the ruling of the Court. The ruling is now a pivotal reference for all practitioners dealing with the complications arising out of a partition of joint family properties.
