Abstract

Human rights are pivotal in safeguarding the dignity and worth of individuals, serving as a vital cornerstone for societal justice. However, in India, which is often regarded as the world’s largest democracy, human rights violations persist. These violations can manifest in various forms, from discrimination and police brutality to caste-based atrocities and restrictions on freedom of expression. This article explores the landscape of human rights violations in India, discussing the legal remedies available to individuals seeking justice and redress. Human rights are the cornerstone of any society, ensuring dignity, freedom, and justice for all individuals. In India, a diverse and vibrant democracy, the issue of human rights violations remains a pressing concern. From police brutality to discrimination and suppression of free speech, numerous violations continue to challenge the very fabric of this nation. However, hope is not lost. There are existing remedies and avenues for redress, ensuring that individuals can seek justice and hold violators accountable.
